Here is the 67 Wizard Roadster I bought in 2006. Originally built by Andy Pearce and featured in Volksworld Jan 1994 and Custom Beetle (1994) by Mike Key when owned by Terry & Sue Gordon. Further photos and other junk stored here: s149.photobucket.com/albums/s73/vwroadster/The nudge bars and wheels were changed before I got the car, although I have since changed the front headlights. The front clip had been replaced (badly) and the paint is a slightly darker shade at the front. I was building an Alfa boxer engined wizard for longer than I can remember but since moving down to Bristol, circumstances changed and ended up buying a completed car. Cheers Peter

Thats a sweet motor peter. Any big plans for it, or will you be enjoying it the way it is?

Thanks Chris
We've tinkered here and there with bits, always fixing with such old cars.
We just enjoy it as it is, it turns heads where ever it goes. Having downturn unbaffled pipes on the stainless box makes a unique sound (similar pipes to what Minis used) As mentioned we changed the headlights and added an Amp to power the speakers from the iPod sourced music.
It's great fun to take out when the sun is out and if we are caught out in the rain, it can be a bit of a handful.
